These are designs for the Asura characters in Guild Wars Eye of the North. The original Asura concept was by Matt Barrett, the original model by Scott Albaugh. The characters here are costume and face paint overs by me on top of the single model Scott made.

I absolutely love the Asura, and I'm just giddy with the thought of playing as one in GW2 =D

Just one question:
How can you tell if they're a male or female?

The females have smaller ears. There are other differences in their bodies, but those are more subtle. General softness in the forms and in the blotchiness of skin.

The original model was sculpted by Scott Albaugh. I made Blimm and cleaned up many of the models shown in the concept art.

I've loved the Asura from day one. XD Before I even played EOTN, I saw the asura in a magazine and was like: "lawl awesome." :3

I love these designs, and you must have had a lot of fun with them.
Can't wait for GW2!!!! <3
